Mysterious figures travel between worlds, offering almighty conquerors glory and riches to join their battle against a distant yet implacable enemy. Armies are transported to new lands to begin their crusades, ignorant to the nature of the dangers they face, and oblivious to the true meaning of their Contest. On one such world, these foreign Invaders are soon to arrive. The inhabitants must overcome their differences and band together in a bid to survive.

It will not be an easy task, for the nations of this world are yet young; past conflicts unforgotten. The lands’ long-absent natives seek to make their presence felt once more, great beasts and powerful seekers roam the uncivilized territories, while criminals, guilds, and an emerging aristocracy tear the few true cities apart from within. But this world has seen such times before, and there are those who yet remember, and have made preparations for the coming storm.

They will be needed, for this time will be different. There are signs that great enemy might not be quite so distant after all, and other powers once thought done with the world slowly return their gaze. For now, the threat remains just beyond the horizon, and there is still time to set plans in motion. Soon, the Sixth Invasion will begin, and none will escape its grasp.
